The Benefits of Pregnancy Massage

This is a deeply relaxing treatment so expect feelings of anxiety and tension to drop during and after your massage. This treatment can help reduce swelling and ease pressure on your joints and lower back.

A drop in the daily aches and pains that come from growing new life. This is a safe treatment for mamas-to-be who are in their second or third trimester.

Your treatment will be filled with long slow movements and kneading movements in tense areas with special attention to the head neck and face for a full body experience.

Mums in their first trimester should not book this treatment.

You have a history of miscarriage or high-risk pregnancy.

You are prone to blood clots or experiencing cramping or bleeding!

Personally as a therapist my favourite massage treatment to give is a pregnancy one as it combines the aspects of pain relief, relaxation, aids in insomnia and a feeling of wellbeing for both mum and baby which leaves the client feeling amazing and the therapist happy that she can help a stressed out mum to be!
